"A LAMPLIGHTER'S LIFE" LIVING HISTORY ON JUNE 19 AT NCCHP!

Dennis Picard will be at NCCHP on Wednesday, June 19 to present "A Lamplighter's Life."

From candles to whale oil to gas - illuminating the streets was a time consuming chore before electricity. Come hear Dennis talk about the people who trimmed the wicks and filled the fonts in villages and towns to aid travelers in the darkest times of the year... and how technology changed it all!

NCCHP LIVING HISTORY EVENTS FOR SUMMER 2019 ANNOUNCED!

NCCHP has put together an outstanding series of Living History events for the summer of 2019! 

Here's a quick rundown of what's in store:

Wednesday, June 19th - Dennis Picard. historian, presents "A Lamplighter's Life"

Wednesday, July 17th - M.P. Barker, author, presents "Running Away To Join The Circus"

Wednesday, August 21st - Sheryl Faye, reenactor, as "Abigail Adams"

Wednesday, September 18th - Campbell Harmon, reenactor, as "Edgar Allen Poe"

All Living History presentations are held at the Noble & Cooley Center for Histotic Preservation, 42 Water Street, Granville, Massachusetts
