NCCHP ANNOUNCES 2022 MUSEUM HOURS

 AT LONG LAST!

After being closed for 31 months due to the Covid pandemic, the NCCHP museum plans to re-open for tours on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, from noon to 3:00PM starting on July 10th!

Members and non-members are invited to come to the museum and enjoy the guided tours and fascinating exhibits. Tours are $5 for adults, $3 for children. If you have visited in the past you will notice some new exhibits and changes to the layout. As always, donations are most welcome.

As you also know, NCCHP made membership dues "optional" during the pandemic. To those who noticed and donated anyway, thank you so much for your generosity. The operating expenses didn't go away and your dues helped defray those expenses, which did draw down (but not deplete) the museum's balance sheet.

If you have been a member in the past and want to catch up on your membership, or want to become a new member, you can do so at this link: http://www.ncchp.org/become-a-member.html

And lastly, if you have been following NCCHP during the pandemic you will remember Wilson Rider's most generous donation of his Model T Ford to the museum. Now we need to create a proper display space for "Wilson's T" as well as the fire engine and the Noble & Cooley Model T. We hope to restore the old Granville fire station, which will allow display of Wilson's T, the fire engine, and the Noble & Cooley Model T. If we are to succeed in this task the first order of business will be new garage doors and obviously that will take money. Stay tuned, we will be looking for benefactors both large and small

Hope to see you at the museum this summer! If you can't be there for a tour, please check http://www.ncchp.org/ for upcoming Living History events at the museum.
